Record the screen.
No install.
Capture your screen, a window, or a browser tab — with optional microphone — and download the video. Nothing is uploaded.
How do I record my screen online? Press Start, pick the screen, window, or tab to share, and record. When you stop, download the video file — the recording stays on your device.
Screen recorder
Your browser does not support screen recording. On iPhone and iPad, use a desktop browser instead — mobile Safari cannot capture the screen.
The browser will ask which screen, window, or tab to share — that picker is built into your browser. Keep this tab open while recording; stopping the share from the browser bar also stops the recording.
How to record your screen
- Press Start recording — the browser asks what to share (entire screen, one window, or one tab).
- Do your thing — the timer runs; the microphone is optional.
- Stop and download — preview the result and save the video file.
What you can record
- Product demos and bug reports (one tab keeps it clean and private)
- Video calls, presentations, and classes (with permission)
- Quick tutorials for teammates
Good to know
Tab and system audio support varies by browser and platform — Chrome on desktop is the most generous; macOS usually needs a tab (not the whole screen) for sound. Recordings can be large: a 10-minute demo at Standard quality is roughly 150–300 MB. Nothing is uploaded, so you keep full control of the file.
Does this work on iPhone or iPad?
No — mobile Safari does not offer screen capture to web pages. Use a desktop browser like Chrome, Edge, or Safari on a computer.
Where is the recording saved?
Only on your device. You download the file when you stop; nothing is uploaded to any server.
What video format do I get?
WebM in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox; MP4 in Safari. Both play in modern players and upload fine to YouTube and similar platforms.
