Photos into a GIF.
Loop it.
Turn a set of images into an animated GIF with the frame timing you choose — encoded entirely in your browser.
How do I make a GIF from images? Add two or more images, set the frame delay, and press Create GIF. The animation is assembled locally and downloads as a single GIF file.
Images to GIF maker
GIF is limited to 256 colors per frame, so photos lose some smoothness — for photographic motion, smaller sizes look better. The images never leave your device.
How to make a GIF from images
- Add your images — the selection order becomes the frame order.
- Set the timing — 200–500 ms per frame feels natural; slower for slideshows.
- Create and download — preview the loop, then save the GIF.
Good uses for image GIFs
- Flipbook-style before/after or progress sequences
- Simple slideshows for chats and forums that don't play video
- Tiny looping animations for product pages and emails
Good to know
Keep the output at 640 px or below for files that share well — GIF files grow fast with resolution and frame count. Building the frames first with Photo collage or Add text to photo gives cleaner results than converting busy photos directly.
How many images do I need for a GIF?
Two is enough for a flip effect; 5–20 frames make a smooth loop. More frames mean a larger file.
Why is my GIF file so large?
GIF is an old format limited to 256 colors per frame. Lower the size setting to 320–480px and reduce the frame count for smaller files.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The GIF is encoded inside your browser tab; the images never leave your device.
