HEIC to PNG.
Lossless, from here.
Turn iPhone HEIC photos into lossless PNG for editing pipelines and tools that refuse HEIC — decoded locally in your browser.
How do I convert HEIC to PNG? Add your .heic or .heif file and download the PNG. The conversion is lossless, transparency is preserved, and the decoder runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
HEIC to PNG converter
PNG is lossless, so the output will be several times larger than the HEIC. Transparency is preserved; burst photos convert their primary image.
How to convert HEIC to PNG
- Add your HEIC or HEIF file — the decoder loads once per visit and runs offline afterwards.
- Convert — pixels are exported losslessly with transparency preserved.
- Download the PNG — ready for editors and pipelines that expect PNG.
When PNG beats JPG for HEIC output
- Editing workflows that need a lossless starting point
- Design tools and print shops that insist on PNG
- Keeping alpha transparency through the conversion
Good to know
Expect a big file — lossless storage is the point, not a bug. And remember: converting does not recover detail the HEIC already discarded; PNG just stops further losses. For a smaller, universally-supported file instead, use HEIC to JPG, then compress with the target-size compressor if a portal has limits.
Why convert HEIC to PNG instead of JPG?
PNG is lossless and keeps transparency — better as an editing starting point or when a tool demands PNG. The trade-off is a much larger file.
Is the photo uploaded?
No. The decoder runs in your browser and the photo never leaves your device.
